lowrider typeface

For my first ever typeface design, I explored a variety of approaches & design thinking. Inspired by historic fonts, I found that designing a low-midline, decorative display font was the touch of eclecticism I was hoping to achieve. The following fonts were heavily influential in the creation of Lowrider: Ponderosa, Mesquite, Zebrawood, Blackoak, Bebas, Rosewood, and Vast Shadow.
